Slack integration
Send requests to Islo from channels or direct messages and follow progress in the same conversation. Connect Slack after you have a factory to delegate work to.
Connect in the dashboard
Open Manage → Integrations, select Slack, and select Connect. You can also connect it in the onboarding wizard’s Connect tools step.
Authorize the Islo Slack app for your workspace and invite it to the channel where you want to send work. Mention the app with a task and repository or issue link, or send it a direct message.
Connect with the CLI
Complete the browser authorization, then return to Islo. See Authentication for team and personal connection scope. Agents use the connected tool through the gateway.
Which Suggested Lines need it?
Slack is not a required integration for any current Suggested Line. Triage a bug is designed for Slack bug reports; it requires GitHub and Linear, and connecting Slack enables its conversational entry point. You can also start it manually with a bug description.
Check the requirements shown on the Suggested Line before deployment. Connect a missing tool or choose a Line whose requirements you meet.
Next steps
Follow the quickstart to create your first factory. Once it exists, delegate work from a connected tool or configure an integration trigger to start work automatically.
